Initially my thoughts of these were no I can't use these as they're so out of focus. This was because the characters were just so small and my camera wasn't good enough to get my desired effect.
However, after feedback and a very useful tutorial I haven't discarded them as a book called Applied Typography 8, a book about Japanese typography, had an example of a filmstrip in there by a designer called Ryoma Okamoto, which was very similar to what I have done here.
After a discussion about where I should go next, I want to produce a few final pieces which can either be viewed as singular pieces, or can be put together to make a whole using my photography and discoveries as an influence in doing this.
